To celebrate the vitality and growth of the West 7th neighborhood, Bad Weather Brewing Company and The Den Yoga are teaming up for Yoga & a Flight. Saint Paul residents are invited to a FREE yoga class designed for all levels. Attendees simply need to bring a mat and a smile to participate. The yoga will take place outside (weather permitting) at Bad Weather Brewing Company and inside if it’s raining. The instruction will be led by instructors from The Den Yoga.

Tour de Tonka—Ride and Raise Funds for ICA Food Shelf

On Saturday, August 1, join thousands for the Tour de Tonka
cycling event and enjoy one of six scenic bike routes in the Minnetonka area. Participate
as a rider or volunteer. This popular cycling event raises funds for ICA Food

Women Run the Cities

September 27 Celebrate sisterhood at Women Run the Cities, one of ESPN’s top five races for women in the nation. Organizers say that this popular event—featuring 10-mile and 10K runs, a 5K run/walk and a girls’ 1-mile run—is great for experienced runners and newbies alike. The courses start and finish at gorgeous Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis, and track along the Mississippi River. Register online; spots fill up quickly. Girls’ run open to ages 4–12. Prices vary by registration date and distance; $15–$70 and up.

Adult and Family Sailing

You and three guests (kids are more than welcome) will learn to rig a Sonar and, with an expert onboard, enter a race. Cool down with dinner and drinks, included in the price, at the MYC Grill & Chill. If racing sounds like a little too much, these instructors know how to slow down for an easygoing afternoon on the water. Lake Minnetonka Triathlon

Kick off the summer with a brisk physical challenge on Lake Minnetonka. The triathlon will include a swimming section in the lake as well as biking and running onshore; some of the proceeds go toward charity. Worried about doing that all by yourself? Register with one or two friends as a relay team. All ages. $102 individual, $120 relay. Packet pick up 3:30–7 p.m. June 19, mandatory pre-race meeting 7 a.m. June 20. Race starts at 7:30 a.m..

Dinner with the Doctor

Join Align Health and Wellness for a free dinner at the Wayzata Country Club and learn all about what it means to be healthy. Bring a few friends and get ready to make changes to your life. Align will also give the stage to anyone who wants to talk about their career or hand out business cards—so if you’d like to squeeze a little networking into your healthy diet, this is the night for you. Adult Co-Rec Kickball

Put on your game face and get your competitive spirit going with adult kickball this summer. Seven weeks of competition will culminate in a playoff between the top four teams of each league.
