Lake Minnetonka 4th of July Celebration

The Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce proudly produces and hosts the only public 4th of July fireworks event on Lake Minnetonka! Our community will celebrate our Nation’s favorite holiday in the tried and true way, with a day full of activity! Beginning early in the morning, until well past dark, we welcome you to be a part of the 4th of July experience on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, at the Commons Park in downtown Excelsior. Bring your family and friends to enjoy a 4th of July that kicks off with a Firecracker Run and ends with a BANG!

Reach “On Tap”

At Wooden Hill’s annual summer fundraising event, community members can come together to support Reach, a nonprofit organization that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness. This all-inclusive event will house a silent auction, delicious food, thirst quenching beverages, music, games and more.

Uptown Food Truck Festival

Check out over 65 food trucks at Lake and Hennepin avenues, with dishes ranging anywhere from tacos and mini doughnuts to wood fired pizzas. Wash down your delectable handhelds with one of 10 craft beers as you jam to live music or partake in fun games and giveaways.

Stone Arch Bridge Festival

Kick off Father’s Day weekend with a stroll across the Mississippi River and Main Street to enjoy cuisine from a variety of food trucks, live music, art from local artists and more.

Centennial Lakes Farmer’s Market

Stroll along the waterfront of Hughes Pavilion to shop for local products amongst 30 local growers and producers. With fresh fruits and veggies, organic salsas, sweet confections and even savory cheeses, there is something fresh to suit every taste bud.

Excelsior Art on the Lake

The historic lakeside village of Excelsior draws art enthusiasts from across the Minneapolis/St. Paul area with its unique shops, galleries and restaurants.

​Excelsior Art on the Lake provides an inspiring experience for both the artist and the public. Local musicians will entertain and regional food vendors will be onsite throughout the two-day event.

Twin Cities Bloody Mary Festival

Enjoy a variety of the Twin Cities most delicious bloodys from some of the finest bars and restaurants in Minnesota, enjoy tasty samples from local food and beverage artisans, listen to live music and more. Ages 21 and older.

Taste of Edina

Edina’s signature food, wine and craft beer experience featuring a wide range of community-based restaurants and distilleries. Enjoy over 70 different wines and 30 beers from Minnesota breweries, watch chef demonstrations and more. Ages 21 and up.

Festival of Nations

Discover more about the world and embrace the rich cultural diversity that the globe has to offer. As the longest running multicultural festival in the Midwest, Festival of Nations will collaborate with more than 90 ethnic groups to create a unique experience that celebrates heritage and provides the community’s immigrants with the ability to express their stories through cuisine, performances and exhibits.
